If yes, keep reading as we are looking for a new Store Manger for our store in Fields Shopping center in Copenhagen.
Role Overview:
Managing the store team, you will focus on driving sales and maximizing store profitability, while providing industry leading service and train your team to excel and develop in sales. You will continue to exceed your stores KPIs and maintain the company standards while following company guidelines. Most importantly you will represent JD Sports in the most professional manner.
Key duties/ responsibilities:
- Ensure that the company policy, including all branch rules and procedure, contract of employment, security and any other standing orders notified, is adhered to at all times within the branch.
- Ensure that government legislation affecting the branch environment is observed at all times.
- Train and Develop internal staff and promote progression within the group.
- Lead in store recruitment, new starter inductions, and staff training.
- Health & Safety company procedures are followed at all times
- Ensure that all expenses are kept to a minimum, and are incurred only when justified.
- Have ownership in administrative responsibilities, regarding retail
development, vacant premises, scheduling and local trading patterns which may affect the branch.
Sales
- Confident use of the store’s dashboard to analyze KPI's and how to ensure that targets are achieved and, where possible, exceeded
- Utilize in-store devices, ensuring that all team members are driving this at every opportunity.
- The staffing structure in the branch allows adequate floor coverage at all times taking into account normal peaks and troughs in the sales pattern.
- Support the Team in making the customers encouraged to return as a result of courteous and competent service.
- The branch interior and exterior are clean and tidy at all times
- Ensure that targets are achieved and, where possible, exceeded.
Customer Service
- Maintain customer retention by providing first class service.
Deal with enquires and complaints and resolving the issue/request.
Drive consistency within your internal teams to achieve the highest service levels. - Motivate and train the team to ensure that customers are given courteous, considerate and responsible advice.
- Ensure that the personal appearance and standard of dress of all staff is in accordance with company policy and that staff uniforms, where provided, are worn.
- Deal with all customer complaints, whether out of service or merchandise, according to company policy, ensuring that they are handled promptly , courteously and objectively.
Visual Merchandising
- Following a weekly brief, ensure that this is applied to your store and maintain high visual standards.
- Attract, engage and motivate customers into making purchases in store by using the latest visual techniques.
- Making sure that all new product and advertised product is all visible and in the correct locations.
- Ensure mannequins, displays and windows are updated in accordance with Visual Merchandising guidelines.
Skills, Experience & Knowledge Needed
- Retail Management experience
- Experience in leading and motivating a team
- Excellent Time Management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- IT skills- Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
